for your health benefits.
When you receive your Lambswool & Sheepskin the wool may appear flattened. Do not worry, wool is a superior fibre, is
extremely resilient and springy and will bounce back.
Simply run your finger through give a vigorous shake and will be back to original appearance very quickly. Any fold marks from
packaging will disappear once the skin has been removed from the package for several days.
Storage Lambswool & Sheepskin should be stored in
a cool airy place away from direct sunlight. Guard against condensation DO NOT pack in plastic bags for long periods of time. Lambswool &
Sheepskin is a genuine natural wool/leather product and needs to be cared for the same way we care for leather products.
Washing
Our Lambswool & Sheepskin products can be washed.
Hand or machine wash once a month ideally using our Woolskin, Lambskin Shampoo & Woolwash with conditioner. See detailed
washing Instructions below.
For effective washing and disinfection use suitable nonionic liquid detergent which does not contain enzymes,
phosphates, peroxide, alkali or bleach. DO NOT use 'cold wash' liquid detergents or washing powders. We recommend Woolskin, Lambskin
Shampoo & Woolwash with conditioner (http://www.ozwool.net/wash.html)
Spin with fleece facing out to remove excess water.
Long wool colours should be professionally dry cleaned.
Drying
Air Dry your Lambswool & Sheepskin flat or on line and stretch to shape while damp. Dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
Direct heat includes, fan heaters, heaters, bar heaters, radiators or steam heat, this can cause illrepairable damage and burn your
Lambswool & Sheepskin. DO NOT tumble dry Lambswool & Sheepskin. DO NOT iron Lambswool & Sheepskin.
ONLY our Green MEDICAL Sheepskin IS DRYER SAFE!
Brushing & Self Cleaning Care
Lambswool & Sheepskin is a natural because of lanolin in wool, regularly brush and airing will keep it fresh and help maintain
its self cleaning properties.
After washing Lambswool & Sheepskin, the wool usually reverts back to its natural curly state. Restore Lambswool &
Sheepskin appearance with a brisk brushing when wet and again when dry with a wire brush or comb like a pet brush or horse
comb.

The following guideline has been provided as a guide to assist you and your baby to gain the full enjoyment and health
benefits from your new baby sheep skin.
SIDS research has resulted in many changes to baby care and parenting practices. When sheep skin is used as part of baby's bedding
it is recommended it should be short pile. It is NOT SAFE for baby to have a long wool Lambswool & Sheepskin. Our baby care range are
all clipped and hypo allergic for baby safety so that there is no risk to baby safety from long wool fibres. Further more it is recommeded
that in the early baby stages a light sheet be laid over the top of the wool fibres.

- Warm Machine Wash 40ºC (104ºF) on Wool Cycle

Medical Lambswool & Sheepskins
Medical CARE INSTRUCTION (Green Colour Skins
Only)
The medical Grade Sheepskins are designed for hospital and nursing home use.
To wash:
- Air Regularly to Keep Fresh
- Hand Wash or Machine Wash up to 80ºC (176ºF) on a Wool Cycle
- Normal Spin Dry
- To Dry either Air Dry away from Direct Heat or Tumble Dry - Do not exceed 60°C
- Flex to Restore Shape
- Professionally Dry Cleanable
- COMMERCIAL LAUNDERING - Comply with Australian Standard AS4480.1
Lambswool & Sheepskin Bedding Underlay
Although, our Lambswool & Sheepskin underlays are machine washable Lambswool & Sheepskin they are big and get heavy when wet and are not
recommend for home washing machines. Professional Dry-clean Recommended.
Lightly soiled areas can be sponge of with clean warm water and towel dried, allow to air dry before replacing
bedding.
